Guide to Temporary Electrical Systems, 2nd Edition
Design, management and deployment
This book provides a detailed explanation of the application of both BS 7671 and BS 7909 to events and other relevant industry guidance. It is a guide for all those involved in the design and use of temporary electrical and power systems, including but not limited to deployment at exhibitions, agricultural shows and outdoors fairs, concerts, theatrical events, film and TV broadcasting, festivals, as well as temporary buildings and structures. It illustrates what should be considered during planning and design, and goes beyond the scope of the regulations on important topics such as stage sets, equipment testing, and considerations for the electrical installations in venues that host temporary events.
This 2nd edition has been revised in alignment with the latest editions of BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 and BS 7909:2023.
